- We are pleased to announce that for the sixth year running the 2011 YCGC will be supporting the very local and worthy charity, St Gemma’s Hospice, and once again we will be running the "Challenge the Charity" event at Moortown’s signature hole, Gibraltar.

We are delighted to welcome you to the “Yorkshire Corporate Golf Challenge”, and our seventh year of competition as once again we aim to uncover the region's leading corporate golfers for 2011.
The inaugural event was staged in September 2004 at the legendary Moortown Golf Club, the home of the 1929 Ryder Cup and many other PGA Tour Events. Barclays Bank PLC were the first winners of the event and St Gemma's Hospice our first benefiting charity.
In 2005 Singer and Friedlander were crowned as YCGC champions, in 2006 WH2L were victorious, and in 2007 Morgan Ashurst were our winners. C & AJ Marshall Builders became the first back-to-back winners, taking the trophy home with them both in 2008 and 2010 (there was no event in 2009).
Our vision was to create a corporate golf day that would run annually, the finals to be played at one of our region's leading courses - the aim simply to uncover the leading corporate golfing team for the County of Yorkshire.
We believe we have established a unique corporate event based on the following key criteria: a competitive days golf - a good test of golf on a quality Yorkshire course - a relaxed and uncomplicated format where the course does the talking - the right ambience for entertaining clients as well as creating networking opportunities amongst competitors - a worthy and deserving charity beneficiary - and of course the opportunity to become Corporate Golf Champions of Yorkshire.
